Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for running so many great programs. Both our boys really had fun and improved their skills
during spring 3 on 3. Aedan just completed the forward clinic and came of the ice each time pumped, talking about what he learned
and excited to get out there with you guys the following week. We appreciate when you and the other coaches pulled the kids aside
and taught them to do the drills, or get in position correctly to help them improve their game. I am sure this extra training will help Aedan in his season in Plattsville.
Please pass a big thank-you onto Jamie and the other coaches on your staff as well that were involved in the forward clinic. We
know that you all put in alot of extra hours teaching these kids skills and the love of the game.
We have decided to sign Aedan up for the Sunday morning program as the forward clinic has been such a positive
experience for him.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and we will see you at the rink.
Best Regards;
Dave and Tara Bell

Jamie, I wanted to let you know that my son Eric had a great time last week at camp. He just got up to
the cottage and asked us if he could go for 3 weeks next year. He is a tough kid to keep happy. The
dry land training part he normally would have complained. Tyler’s wife Jen made it fun and interesting
for kids.
Thank you,
Carey Grierson

Just wanted to say great job with your Body Checking Clinic. I was extremely impressed with all the drills and time that
was spent with each child. I really liked that you controlled the enrollment and didn\'t stuff 70 kids out there to defend for themselves.
You took the time to show the kids how to protect themselves in the corners and how to ride out a check. You\'re setting
the kids up the bases and the confidence to either give or receive a body check.
I know it\'s money well spent when all the way home that\'s all Nate can talk about. Just to see the smile on my sons
face tells me how much he enjoys HHTD.
Great Clinic.
Adam H.
My son, Jonah, attended the Aug 21-23 body checking clinic. Jonah enjoyed participating in the clinic.
He stated that it helped him learn how to properly check an opponent, and also how to take a ckeck and protect himself.
During the clinic, I noticed that my son is more comfortable with body contact now that he's received proper coaching.
I would highly recommend the body checking clinic to other parents.
Thanks again - Zed
Hi Coach Jamie, I just wanted to send you a quick email letting you know how much I enjoyed last week at HHTD!
The instructors were great because they were serious about hockey but still had a great time with us. It was
clear to me that at the end of the week their number one goal was to help us be better hockey players.
I worked up a great sweat both on and off the ice and I thought the dryland was awesome! This was the best
hockey camp I have ever been to! Thanks Coach Jamie for a great week and I can't wait until next year!
Nicolas
Thank you for running a very informative body checking clinic Aug21-23. I was most impressed with the caliber of the coaching and the multiple lessons taught.
It was certainly more than just a body checking clinic and should be advertised as so!... Lessons learned over the three days will serve him well for the remainder of his hockey days!!
Thanks again - Anthony
Hey Jamie, Mike and Tyler,
Just wanted to say again how much both Kevan and Brennan enjoyed their camps with you guys.
HHDT is truly our one -stop shop as both the player and goalie camps are of such high quality.
In their words, Kevan really enjoyed the Bantam Conditioning Clinic as he found the drills were
set at game speed and the focus was on passing, skating and multiple shooting.....he especially
liked how you related the drills to real game situations so he could see the link.
With the goalie camps, ,Brennan loved the intensity that you guys brough to each drill, how the
drills related to game specific situations and most of all the way that you guys motivate him to
do better...
I really cannot completely put into words how much the boys love being a part of HHTD and al the
things you have done and are continuing to do for them.....their self confidence and desire to
improve is being fed by all the things that make HHTD so special.....the profesionalism and enthusiasm
of the instructors is so infectious and encouraging and this comes over because it is what you and
Mike and Tyler demand and demonstrate both on and off the ice..... Your passion and love of the
game comes over and the kids are so motivated by that and feed off of that.....You demand the
best of them and I love the fact that you correct them when they execute something incorrectly
or call them out when their performanc is less than optimal.....and all of this is done in an atmosphere of respect, and fun...
Keep up the good work......see you at the rink!
Cheryl
Dear Tyler, Jamie and Mike (Hometown Hockey Training and Development)
I just wanted to let you all know what a fantastic hockey camp you run. My son Justin is in your
camp this week and he is a 7 year old first year goalie who has never done a goalie camp before.
He was very nervous and unsure before he started. I want you to know that he is loving it. He
thinks all of the instructors are great and most important, he feels good about himself when he
comes home.
For the past 2 days he can hardly wait to show us what he has learned and what he
did throughout the day! I find the whole camp very well organized and you are all pleasant and
helpful during drop off/pick up. Justin had a really bad player camp experience somewhere else
last year so, we were all really nervous for him this year.
Thank you so much for making this
such a great experience for all of us. I was also wondering which of your programs you would
recommend for him to participate in for the fall/winter. I would welcome your advice. Keep up
the great work! I will certainly highly recommend your programs to others.
Thank you!
Amy Higgins
Dear Tyler, Jamie and Mike (Hometown Hockey Training and Development)
Thank you for your excellent work with Hanover Minor Hockey, in running the power skating and goaltender clinics. They were excellent and the feedback from both parents and the kids was all very positive.
Not only did your company handle our kids in a very positive manner, but the instruction was very informative and helpful and will definitely be of great benefit to our players in their skills development. The knowledge of the game that all of your instructors have and can impart on our young people was very impressive. The goalies were very pleased to work with Mike Torchia and felt they benefited a great deal from his expert instruction and guidance.
The power skating that both you and Jamie ran was the best regimen of training for that skill that I’ve ever seen. We look forward to utilizing your company again in the future and will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone.
Sincerely,
Steve Fitzsimmons, Hanover Minor Hockey
Jamie and Tyler,
I've been meaning to fire you guys off an email and thanks for your great
work on the Sunday morning powerskating. Cameron and Preston really liked
your sessions. It was great to see how much they improved from your
sessions/drills. I like the fact that you guys take the time with the kids
to make sure that they do the drills the right way and that you guys stress
the importance of hard work and effort.
Look forward to the boys in your summer camps! Thanks again!
Cheers,
Dave
Just wanted to say thanks, Braeden had an awesome time at camp. He was excited about meeting new friends from
different teams. Mathew, his older brother said to say thank you also. He enjoyed the week that Braeden was at
camp the most( peace and quiet around the house). Braeden's confidence has gone up and he feels good about tryout
next week. I'll let you know how they went. Braeden can't wait for Sunday mornings to start up again. Getting him
up early on a Sunday is a chore, so that just goes to show you all what a great job you are doing for our future stars.
Keep up the great work
See you at the rink

Jason and I just wanted to extend a personal thank you for running such a fun and safe summer camp.
Bryce had a great time and looked forward to going back the next day. He mentioned it was his best
camp all summer. He was surprised to know as many kids as he did, as was I.
The drive from our home / work to New Hamburg was most reasonable ... better than driving to RIM Park.
Facilities were great, clean and the access for viewing our child was perfect. And most importantly,
the leaders/instructors/coaches were absolutely amazing for the times I was able to watch them. They
were very interactive with the children ... helping them tie skates/get dressed, encouraging, fun and
helpful on the ice/off ice, and they kept the kids under control. We thank you for that.
Thanks again
Carole Patterson
Thanks again for allowing Ben and myself to be a part of your Hockey Camp. Ben thoroughly enjoyed the camp and
I was able to see the amount of work required to make a fun camp for the kids. I was most impressed with the structure
and constructive criticism that was shown from yourselves and the instructors. I was telling Torch that a parent was
happy that you told their son not only the things he was doing well, but also pointed out the areas of weakness.
Enjoy your last week and I am looking forward to seeing you guys in the fall.

And... many thanks to all of you for being so giving of your time and expertise. My daughters had a great time and learned
a lot in the one week that you spent with them. Your enthusiasm for what you do is inspiring!
Kindest regards,

Thank you all for a fantastic week. Tristan so enjoyed himself, learned many new things,
made some new friends and had some awesome hockey instruction from the group of coaches
and other trainers. Words truly cannot express the appreciation and attention and the
time you all put towards teaching my child and all the others. I know Tristan has such
a desire to play, learn and develop further in his hockey and this program is something
that will be of great help to him. See you the week of August 18th.
Lynn & Tristan Caswell
Thanks so much for your follow up e-mail. It reinforces for me the reason
why your camp was so successful. Jakob LOVED going every morning ... even
the last day when you promised it would be the hardest day ever :) In our
three years of summer camps, your camp has become the "best camp ever"
which all others will be compared to.
I was very impressed with the rapport you had with the kids. You really
made it fun for them, but pushed them to do their best. Jakob was
definitely tired every night when he got home and he learned some things
that he could talk about.
If you could please put us on your mailing list. I would love to enrol
Jakob in other programs through HHTD. My husband will definitely be out
with Jakob when your Sunday morning drop in sessions start again in the
fall.
Thanks and I hope your summer is successful and fun

Good Luck to you guys. It is a much needed program in our community.
Skill development is something that always needs to be worked on! Talking
to Jamie the other day and this sounds like a great thing you have going.

Director of Scouting for the Detroit Red Wings
She played awesome, against teams with AAA
level boys that were a year older. She won three round robin games, with
one shut-out, and then the final game 6-2. All the AAA boys couldn't
believe how much she improved from last year (she was their back-up goalie
last year).
She insisted on signing up for the March break goalie camp, the 3 on 3
(Richard Division, because she only wants to play against the boys), and
the August camp, so she is signed up for all of them. She also wants to
sign up for a goalie camp in July (but we'd prefer one in New Hamburg -
I've already told Tyler).
Anyway, you guys provide an awesome program, I just wanted you to know.
Thanks, see you at the arena.
John - Asst. Coach, Peewee Jr. Jets
Mike and Mychel...just got back from your PD Camp in
St. Clements, and I
have to say that was AWESOME!!!!! My son Nick (not
the little goalie, and
not the big '97..the middle one) learned more in
those 2 hours than he has
all year!!
I know it won't have a huge impact on HHTD, but I am
definitely going to
spread the word on this!!
p.s. Jamie, don't let these goalie trainers
go.....four thumbs up! Thanks
guys.
Brad Baechler
Rhett really had alot of fun this morning. It is
the first time we have been involved in your program and after watching the
goalie camp as well as the power skating , I must say the instruction was
very impressive. Rhett is looking forward to future sessions with Hometown
hockey.
Thanks to you and Mike for all your on ice guidance ( Jamie was looking good
during the power skating )
Kimmer
My two boys are absolutely loving the training and coaching and just
fun at your camps...well done and congratulations on creating such an
exciting and learning program and environment.
Thanks in advance

Just wanted to let you know that Brenden really enjoyed your ice times. He
liked that you explained the drills and broke down the skills. He also
said he liked how you made them workhard.
Thanks
Have a great New Year!

Hello Jamie,
Just heading home after the game with one knee under the wheel....
I got out in the parking lot today and was gone before I realized I
hadn't thanked you guys for the day. To quote Brett "this camp is awesome
and the instructors make it fun". He was beeming. You have created a great and exciting hockey
devlopmental environment. Keep up the great job
You guys are on to something here. Keep up the great work.
Dan
"This mornings' pd session was great! The coaches from Home Town Hockey
were very motivating and encouraging. I think they managed to make a
comment to each of the kids on the ice. My son really enjoyed himself."
"This AM we were treated to an excellent on ice session, about the most important aspect of our game...skating. These guys had great energy and knowledge !
I agree with Carol Sine when she says "I would be willing to pay for more sessions". I propose that we seriously consider 6-12 more sessions. Leave fundraising for tourneys and we pay out of pocket.
We should be very proud of our kids today, they were very coachable, improved greatly and worked extremely hard."
"Tyler a quick note to you, please pass along to Jamie and Mike. I'm
confident your sessions enable us to push through at the Silver Stick
this weekend. Our speed was too much for most teams to cope with.
"We (Ayr Atom Rep Hockey Club) wanted to say Thank You from the
coaches, players and parents, to the commitment Home Town Hockey made
to our club".
We are now off to the International Silver Stick tournament
representing Southern Ontario in Sarnia/Port Huron in January '08.
Players are very excited.
Thanks, Harty"
"From the sessions of power skating with Hometown Hockey T/D, I know my skating has improved. I have a stronger stride and I have much more stamina and strength each shift I play in a game. Tyler has reinforced the basics of skating and helped me to become a better and stronger skater. I am sure I will have a better hockey year because of power skating. Tyler is also a fun coach.

"Working with Tyler and Shane has been a very positive and rewarding experience for me. We went right back to the basics of learning to skate. We also worked on our balance which is very important when body checking. Tyler worked us hard but he made the skating drills fun. I have enjoyed all the sessions I have had with Hometown Hockey T/D, and I know it has improved my game.

"When you are a teenager, waking up early is always tough, but each Sunday morning, I get up, have a good breakfast and am ready for the ice by 7:00am. I have loved the power skating sessions with Tyler. He makes us work hard, but he is so positive and a lot of fun. I am looking forward to a week long hockey camp with Hometown Hockey T/D.
